Paddleboards and paddleboarding has been around as long as humans need for travel across the water. Its origins start in ancient tribal travel and fishing. More recently paddleboarding has become an exciting sport that surfers, kayakers and many other sports have enhanced and used for leisure purposes.
What is the IFP...
The IFP has been set up by paddleboarders to offer support to paddleboarders worldwide and its constitution is as follows:
To offer support and information for paddleboarders globally on issues such as access, insurance, tuition, good practices for schools, product advice and reports.
To connect & support local national governing bodies.
To create a nationally recognized learning structure with qualifications and support schools worldwide.
To offer paddleboarders 3rd party insurance.
